The Ora Toa (Primary) Health Services are owned and operated by Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira Inc.
As the first service provided by Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira to the Porirua community, through experience and a strong understanding of the communities we support, we offer high-quality, low cost primary health care to Māori and non-Māori living within the Porirua and Wellington regions.
Under the korowai of the Ora Toa Health Services, we provide an extensive range of health care including:

Our Services
Tai Ora
Discover the healing traditions of Mirimiri and Fofo with Tai Ora at Hei Oranga Ake. These Māori and Pacific practices restore and balance body, mind, spirit, and emotional well-being, addressing energetic blocks from trauma.
Ora Toa Mauriora
We provide free Addiction and Mental Health services to assist and support rangatahi and their whānau. Ora Toa Mauriora endeavours to provide culturally appropriate, quality care services for all people.
Kaha Toa Gym
Kaha Toa is a free community gym available to Ngāti Toa Iwi members, Te Rūnanga O Toa Rangatira employees, their whānau and Ora Toa patients referred by our Health workers.
Medical Centres
Ora Toa PHO is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of communities by providing support and services that are; available, accessible, affordable, coordinated and comprehensive – ensuring continuity of care.
Disability Service
The Ora Toa Disability Service currently provides 24 hour care from our residential home in Ranui Heights, Porirua.
We provide health and daily care for our IHC Disability clients.
Community Health
The Community Health service offers a wide range of free services for people of all ages. Our vision is that all people we serve will enjoy optimum health and wellbeing.
